Kayla, of Day by Knight Wedding and Events, was a key part of making our perfect day go off without a hitch - beside us getting happily hitched! At first we were skeptical about hiring anyone to help with our wedding; I’m a natural planner, highly organized, and knew I would be very particular about every detail. After realizing we logistically could not, nor did we want to, set-up/take down and run the day on our own, or with the help of friends and family who should be enjoying the day, I contacted Kayla.

From our first conversation I was immediately impressed. Kayla asked all of the right questions and even ones I, admittedly, hadn’t even thought of. She made sure she understood every detail in advance so that no questions were asked on our wedding day. Our ceremony was perfectly cued by Kayla and since we held our reception at the same venue she had a slim few hours to do a whole venue flip for 120 guests while we did our photos. Our décor was set up exactly to my request, early at that, and we still receive compliments to this day, 7 months later, on how perfect everything was.

Once everything was settled for dinner, Kayla went home and came back at midnight when the party was over for the décor take down. She ensured everything was put away and organized neatly for us to pick up from the venue a couple days later – when we tried to help, though I’m sure we weren’t much of it at that time, she sent us off to our hotel room to relax as newlyweds.

In summary, I couldn’t say enough positive things about how much having Kayla helped put us at ease on one of the most important and cherished days of our life, knowing that it was in such good hands. She is professional and genuinely cares about making your day the best it can be.

To any bride or couple that’s questioning whether you need a coordinator or not, trust me, YOU DO, and hiring Day By Knight Wedding and Events was more than worth it.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you again for helping us implement the wedding of our dreams! Tyler and I still continue to receive endless compliments on the details of our beautiful Kelowna wedding. You took our vision and brought it to life!

Constantly bringing forward new and refreshing ideas, sharing vendors and even taking care of site visits (as Tyler and I lived in another city) while planning this incredible milestone in our lives. You truly ensured that everything was on time and set to perfection.

With every "ups and downs" that wedding planning can possibly go through (including losing a venue months before the big day!) you stepped up and helped us. I hope every happy couple have the chance to work with you. You are an exceptional, kind spirited, organized and thoughtful wedding coordinator. A lovely fellow bride-to-be asked me a couple of weeks ago "how do you get so excited about your wedding?" For me, it was in the details. A year of creating and crafting romantic details that would decorate the most intimate and memorable night of our lives. Creating an evening that was magical for all the people closest to our hearts. I poured my heart each last detail for our golden harvest Okanagan wedding. And I loved every minute of it. And the hardest part was walking away the night before, trusting that the final touches, and the last minute decisions would be handled with as much care as if I had done them myself. That, I could not have done, without Kayla Knight, of Day by Knight Wedding and Events helping with day-of coordination. Kayla brought me a peace of mind, and a feeling of comfort that I feared my detail-dedicated-disposition wouldn't allow. Thank you for helping bring my visions into reality, and setting my heart at ease on the most special of days

We hired Kayla with Day by Knight Wedding and Events as our “Day of” coordinator for our wedding in May, she brought my vintage-romance vision to life we are so happy with how everything turned out! I'm so happy we hired Kayla to be our Day of Coordinator! She was so well organized, and seemed to ask questions about all the things I didn't think of. She's a wealth of knowledge, and went above and beyond for us on our wedding day. On the wedding day she was on top of everything that I asked her about -flowers, DJ, cake, ceremony set up, etc. She also brings a calm demeanour to a stressful day! Definitely worth the investment!
